for context i'm a poly student heading into y1 of my IT related diploma in 2 weeks. i chose poly over jc because i didn't like the subjects i was studying + idk if i could handle the intense rigour of jc as i used to struggle in sec sch (failed amath all my life, prelim l1r5 was in the 30s). my l1r5 was below 12 nett so i could have gone to a mid tier jc. like i said, i picked poly cause i could learn something i was interested in and i thought i'd have a better chance of doing well as…
How to do well with graded assignments (RP)
Just got back results for sem 2 year 1, I am concerned as my grades were not what i had expected at all, which dropped my cul gpa from 3.5 to 3.44 (its nth much, but i want to get into CHSS nus), when I was looking at what when poorly, I found out that it was the mods with GA's, in which i got a b and c for b233 and b237 respectively, as i know year 2 would have more mods with GA's i want advice on how to do well apart from using CA's to carry me.

What’s the gym in republic poly like
Just wondering how big the gym is in republic poly and is it free to enter? How many benches, squat racks and deadlift platforms are there? Is it crowded like activesg or can i easily use whatever I want without queuing?

Got rejected from DAE,do I still have a chance?
Background knowledge,in 2023 I took up an IT course in RP but withdrew near the end of the year because I really didn't like the course.
This year,I applied for DAE for various courses in both TP and SP and got one interview offer from TP for interior design course, went for it and got an email two days ago telling me the application was unsuccessful so basically I kena rejected. I have gotten no other offers so far and I know appealing to TP would likely yield no result.
I tried to apply…
[POLY HELP] Tips for poly class performance, Reflection journal and daily class presentation
I heard from alot of yall that rp got smth like a CAG and it gets recorded daily and that could prove fatal for my gpa and if i do not force myself painfully into the perfect puppet student everyday. I really wished i bit the bullet and went jc to avoid this… could anybody who strived from these tests give me a hand?
I just found out I didn't finish my enrolment for poly
so I just opened my email to find out my poly offer expired last month and I was panicking. for context, I applied for DAE and ended up having to appeal cause I didn't like the course I was posted to. I received my appeal results on 21 feb and got into the course I appealed for (the course is in rp but i won't mention it for anonymity). I checked my email that day and finished steps 1 and 2 of the enrolment process (not sure abt step 2 and I can't be sure since I can't access the enrolment…
Difficulty choosing between courses for poly
I love TP as a community and ik a lot of people there, and it is way closer to my house than RP. However, I don't have the same passion for kids and 100% won't use the diploma except to apply for uni. I understand the need for passion as it is one of the harder courses to score a 3.8 gpa but I am resilient a
