Shld I bring my dad along?

I got posted to Republic Poly and they're hosting this event called FreshStart@RP and I already got a call from the principal (I think?) earlier tdy.

I already RSVP a slot for myself and I decided to bring a plus one which is my dad and my dad said he can take a half day off work to accompany me. Don't get me wrong, I love my dad, but when I told my mom she said that I'm already a big girl and that my dad shld stop tagging along with me, if not other people will go all "eee 17 already still…

Recently received my PFP Posting results and I got into Common Science Programme at Republic Polytechnic(yay!) and then received a crap ton of posts talking about nono dont go rp oh noo rp is bad rp will ruin u nooo rp is like ite north

and i want to ask why is everyone stereotyping still? 😭 why the stereotype? poly is poly, u go poly to get ur diploma and get the heck out of the school asap afterwards, so why is there a stereotype that rp is 📉 poly meanwhile every other poly is fine?…

Aviation Management in Temasek Poly or Republic Poly for PFP

At first, I wanted to go to apply for T04, but the travelling time (1.5hrs one-way) heavily discouraged me from Temasek Poly. Hence, I applied for R39 in Republic Poly. However, I've heard that Republic Poly has a lot of group work and problem-based learning, and after some group work in ITE (DPP),…

How does Uni admission work?

I read online that NTU offers full time courses and the requirement for full time polytechnic students is a diploma with merit. Basically the 10% in your cohort for your partially course.

By that logic, if someone graduated with a diploma with merit in rp/tp/sp/nyp/np, he or she can apply for ntu food science and technology course.

Does your diploma need to be related to that course in university, for example I took an art diploma in republic poly and want to apply for a science course in…
