currently a y2 student and rly struggling with A233 Pharmacology & Toxicology. absolutely do not understand what’s gg on in class and the way my teacher explain to me is like foreign language bro.. i have a rly weak biochem background so i think it kinda plays a part in it as well😅 anyo knows any idea about the module/topics taught & how can i self study at home? like recommend yt vids or smth

hihi so i am a year 1 rp student in SOI i currently have a part time job and am about to join cca, for context i would like to join 2 ccas that i have interest in, which is a little time consuming-adds up to 12 hours a week, i am considering if i should drop my part time job or just choose one cca, however i really want to try out both. i get $400 in allowance per month and tbh i dont need the money from my job as it just goes into my savings or to buy other stuff than food. school fees or…
Ok so whats the pt of open books exams. Is open book but the time is shortened for each exam. So why not just force us to understand/memorise rather than having open book? I js dont understand. Cuz ultimately they maybe have application type of qn, that tests our understanding and we cant possibly flip through notes within such short time. I get that for math, open book easier for the formulas and stuff, but still. For other subj like bio/chem and others, the open book seems slightly redundant
