Thoughts on Republic Polytechnic Changes : r/SGExams

With the new principal who was previously NYP principal and the new system in Republic polytechnic. My assumption is that, RP may become 2nd NYP sooner or later. The new principal is raising the standards for RP The cut off point to get into RP has also increase No longer easy as before. I wouldn’t be surprise once I graduate, RP will change, maybe the views on RP will also change, from being viewed “North ITE” to something else, perhaps a good thing since there was alot of discrimination…

Rp’s new time table : r/SGExams

I just started year 2 and this sem’s time table is a stark difference from last sem. Unlike other polys, our lessons were usually conducted as a PBL rather than just lectures and tutorials however, with the new time table, all our lessons have became interactive seminars. I guess this change might be a good thing because sitting in class with the same lecturer the whole day can become quite boring and draining don’t you agree? Personally, I think I do like this new schedule because we…
