Are all polytechnics in Singapore full ? That they cannot accept more students coming in? (2025)

Hi, so my friends and I are from ITE doing Higher Nitec Engineering Course but we already finished our duration at ITE so we are now in different schools. So currently I’m studying in ITEs WSDIP so no issue as I have a place to study but as for my friends, ive notice that some of them are not getting into poly even tho they have very good GPA of 3.0 and above except for one who got like GPA of 2.3 but he chose all RP related courses. Should I drop my poly diploma and study a private science diploma instead?

I’m in my first year in rp studying arts, but I really want to switch and study science instead. I did some research on private institutes and I’m interested in enrolling in psb’s science diplomas, and advancing into private degrees. I basically alr know that private degrees have more disadvantages and is much more expensive than local uni degree but I really want to study science over arts. I just wonder if there is any alternative to pursue science career as a non-science student in poly.
