RP Overseas Intern vs Local Intern
Hey everyone!I’m currently in Year 3, Semester 1 at Republic Polytechnic (RP), School of Engineering. Recently, our module mentors started discussing internship opportunities during the cohort briefing—and they even mentioned that there are chances to intern in Japan! Honestly, I’m super interested in going to Japan, but I’m still unsure if committing to a 6-month overseas internship is really worth it. Should I drop my poly diploma and study a private science diploma instead?
I’m in my first year in rp studying arts, but I really want to switch and study science instead. I did some research on private institutes and I’m interested in enrolling in psb’s science diplomas, and advancing into private degrees. I basically alr know that private degrees have more disadvantages and is much more expensive than local uni degree but I really want to study science over arts. I just wonder if there is any alternative to pursue science career as a non-science student in poly.
